Antonio Hurtado de Mendoza
Our hotel made us reservations for our anniversary, so we were seated in the smaller, more intimate room, which was nice. The service was great and so was our food.

This was our second visit to Larisa and Vergilio’s wonderful restaurant. Despite being late (my fault) Larisa got us sorted quickly but be aware, this restaurant has limited seating and is very popular so we were lucky (don’t get lost on the way!). Visited this Osteria on our first night in Venice, it was quite close to the flat we rented. Didn’t have a reservation, but we showed up right at 18:30 opening and were able to get a table for 2, though parties arriving later without a reservation were turned away. Setting was cozy, food was delicious.

Started off with the Mixed Seafood Sampler (Venetian Style). Foe our main dish we ordered the Vermicelli with Cuttle Fish Ink Sauce over Polenta and Tuscan Roast Lamb Chops. Everything was delicious.

Having had a rather rough first day in Venice due to an unexpectedly unpleasant hotel we searched carefully for a nice dinner to salvage our start to the holiday. This place was little, tucked away from the crowds and the food was delicious! And very prompt and kind service.

Groucho Marx
We are here on our last night in Venice. We had heard that the places on the other side of the cancel were slightly more local. The food was great. I had the best tiramisu that I have ever had. The pasta, fish and vegetables were great as well. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed this place and had a great dinner here. Its a small restaurant with a nice courtyard in front and is run by a husband and wife team with the wife serving and the husband doing the cooking.

Very fresh and well prepared food. This is an honest husband-wife team that is very friendly and puts their heart into the food. It is very small, recommend that you reserve in advance. They speak English very well and also had a menu in German.
